Robert Scoble做不到的事情，Windows Live可以做到。

社群网站最核心的资源就是用户，就是每个人的朋友列表里的那些人，因此社群网站不会允许用户或者第三方导出自己的联系人列表，而注册的时候都要你邀请信箱里的联系人。Scoble就是因为想导出自己在facebook上的联系人而被关停了两天帐号。

而现在，单行道变成了双行线，至少在windows live和facebook、LinkedIn、Tagged、Hi5、Bebo之间是这样的。5家社群网站同意使用windows live contacts API，因此用户可以导入windows live联系人，邀请他们加入。

另一方面，微软已经建立起了Invite2Messenger，用户可以用这项服务来邀请社群网站里的联系人加入windows live messenger。见下图。

目前提示的只有邀请facebook用户加入，试了几次，终于进入了下面这个界面。

点击进入facebook帐户，填写注册信箱、密码，选择朋友列表，就可以进行邀请了。

Windows Live teams up with social networks for contact portability

(via webware) Microsoft’s Web-app division announced Tuesday that it has partnered with five social networks–LinkedIn, Tagged, Hi5, Bebo, and yes, Facebook–on a new project to facilitate address book portability. The partner social networks have agreed to use the Windows Live Contacts API so that members can import Windows Live contacts to their respective sites. Read more.

Windows Live SkyDrive今天脱掉了Beta的外衣，而且把免费存储的空间从1G调高到了5G。每天都要登录MSN Messenger，有现成的Windows Live帐号，在配上5G的免费空间，多好的事。可是当我登录之后，却当头撞来了这样一条信息。

“Not available in your region”，这简直有点不可思议。赶紧跑到SkyDrive团队的空间里去看，这里有一张地图。

确实不包括大陆和香港。而SkyDrive还在欢呼，38个国家和地区已经开通了这项服务！这个市场不重要吗？

Windows Live SkyDrive took off its beta clothes today, it’s avaible in 38 country/region with free storage expanding to 5GB. But the big market of China mailand and hongkong are not invited. Is this market really important to Microsoft?
