Swurl是一个类friendfeed服务，即把你在其他社群网站上的内容更新都聚集到这里，比如你的youtube上的视频，twitter上的碎碎念，delicious上的书签，flickr上的图片，甚至是你的friendfeed更新。它也有交朋友的功能，用的是“follow”的方式，相当于friendfeed里的订阅（subscribe）。不过它没有直接发布内容的功能，不像friendfeed有“share somthing”。

它的界面不好看，不过时间线（timeline）这个功能做的可以说是赏心悦目，像把所有的活动都按时间贴在日历上了一样。见下图。

上图是一张非常完整的比尔·盖茨年表(timeline)，可以上溯到比尔的父亲、母亲出生的年份，1955年盖茨3.0（因为比尔·盖茨在家里排行第三）诞生。当然最主要的还是微软各种产品诞生的时间、照片，以及比尔的照片，还有同时代IBM、Apple等公司的相关动态。收藏这张图吧，作为对比尔·盖茨的一个纪念。

想要在Youtube上追踪一个事件是非常困难的，因为大量的不同时间上传的视频，很难按时间顺序清晰的排列在我们眼前。而TimeTube就是提供了这种“时间轴”服务。比如我们想要了解奥运火炬传递的前前后后，我们就可以用timetube查一查。见下图，点击看大图。

我输入的是“火炬”这个关键词，显示的是6个月之内的视频，呵呵，其中有宋丹丹、赵本山的小品“火炬手”。时间轴线可选择的时间是从1天到100年！正中的视频缩略图界面可以上下左右拖动。点击缩略图可以播放视频。时间显示方式分为“时间轴(TimeLine)” 、“名单排列(ListView)”、“翻书(Flipbook)”、“按地理位置显示(MapView)”。

TimeTube实际上是Dipity公司的一项新产品，这个网站是一个timeline的集合地，它有两个突出的功能，一是自己制作时间轴线，像记日记一样，你可以把用文字、图片、视频来记录自己的每一天，时间长了，这就是你的富媒体日记了。

另外一个特色的功能就是类似于secondbrain、friendfeed这样的社群网站信息聚合了，但是是把这些信息放在一条时间轴先上来表现的。可以导入的社群网站目前包括youtube、flickr、twitter等等。这个时间轴线还可以嵌入到自己的网页里。下图是我导入了这3个网站的信息后的样子（截图）。点击看大图。

我们在“三个间谍”一文中介绍过TubeSpy、Delicious Spy、DiggSpy，现在间谍4号——twitter spy来了。下图是它的样子。

twitter spy随时呈现来自twitter的最新的信息，因此页面刷的非常快，不过可以用pause来暂停一下（红框所示）。另外，它还可以随时抓取twitter信息中的链接（latest url grabbed）。和其他3个间谍一样，技术展示大于实用，不过有热点消息的时候倒可以随时关注一下。
