尼尔森（Neilson）咨询公司公布了3月美国前20位社群网站排行榜，Myspace和Facebook继续以独立访问数和平均使用时间双双正向增长的成绩排名前两位。而微软的Live Space仍然呈现双负增长的趋势，独立访问数同比下降了13%，平均使用时间同比下降了38%。再来看看live space2月的表现，同比下降的数字分别为15%和41%。live space在排行榜中的位置也由第四位下降到第五位。

对比live space自去年9月开始的一路衰退的表现，实在让人怀疑微软是否要放弃它，长达7个月的负增长太可怕了。下面这个文档是3月和2月20家社群网站的具体排行和数据。

对于研究人员和新闻媒体来说，所引用资料的权威性直接关系到研究成果的可靠性和报道的真实性。联合国刚刚推出的UN Data就为需要权威、专业资料的人们提供了一个资料库，可以很方便的查找联合国的各项统计数据，包括国家情况、人口、环境、能源等各个领域。下图是它的首页，一个搜索框，非常简单。

比如要搜索二氧化碳排放（co2 emissions），会得到一系列搜索结果，其中就包括各个国家二氧化碳排放量的统计。UN data一个非常好用的地方在于，可以通过过滤（filters）来比较不同国家之间某一年度的情况，比如，可以比较中国、印度、英国、美国2004年二氧化碳的排放情况。见下图，点击看大图。

如果你是一个女孩，并且有一个myspace帐户，那么你可以和myspace上的全世界的女孩比美了，就像上边的这个widget一样。这是AddHer提供的一个有趣的服务，就像Hot or Not一样，你和其他女孩PK，不同的是，每次PK时的问题都不一样，比如有的时候是“谁是下一个舞会皇后？”这里我借用了Amy小姐的资料，她也是addher视频当中推荐的人。AddHer不单是让别人投票这么简单，它提供了访问你的资料页的链接，并且会提供具体的数据分析。使用AddHer非常简单，上传自己的照片，简单注册一下就可以了。

关于twitter的数据统计，我们以前介绍过twitter stats，它的数据统计分为5项内容，很不错，只是速度太慢。那么我们有必要介绍一款快一点的twitter统计服务——TweetStats。操作也很简单，就是填好自己的twitter id，然后等着结果出现就行了。

TweetStats也是5项统计结果，“月统计分布”、“每天统计分布”、“小时统计分布” 、“回复统计排行”和“操作界面统计”。和twitter stats的唯一区别是多了一项操作界面统计，即通过哪种程序发送tweet（见下图），少的一项是“被回复排行”。

这是我的发送tweet所使用的程序的排行，MeeMix最多，因为每播放一首歌，它就会把歌名发到twitter上，速度奇快。
