RadioHead乐队最近为“House of Cards”这首歌新拍了一个MV，不过这个MV的制作过程中，既没有摄影机，也不用打灯光；取而代之的是两项扫描技术，用于抓取3D图像。Geometric Informatics扫描系统抓取近距离的面部3D图像，同时，Velodyne LIDAR系统用64个激光源，来捕捉360度的背景环境3D图像。

Radiohead终于建立了自己的社群网站——Waste Central。为什么说“终于”呢？因为自去年10月Radiohead开始在网络上以用户自主定价的方式开始营销以来，步骤不断，前几日又推出了一个非常丰富的widget，紧接着又推出了一个歌曲重新演绎的比赛，Radiohead已经把网络作为了自己的大本营，而这个Waste Central就是一个真正的基地。

Waste Central的色调延用了In Rainbows那张专辑的阴郁色调，用户注册以后可以上传图片、视频，写博客，交友，这些都是基本的社交功能。用户的页面可以个性化编辑。在这里还可以获得Radiohead的巡演信息等等。

Radiohead需要这样一个基地，一些死忠的歌迷也需要，可是对于更广泛的歌迷呢？他们喜欢Radiohead但也喜欢别的乐队，如果让他们经常为了“其中之一”来访问，恐怕不太可能。因此，利用现有的各种社群站点来与用户交流还是不能少的。

最近这段时间，除了Radiohead外，还有50 Cent也建立了独立的社群网站。这类社群站点的效果会不会好，再看看吧。
