九寸钉乐队（Nine Inch Nails）让人们吃惊的绝不仅仅是他们的音乐。3月4日我们曾报道了他们将新专辑“Ghosts I-IV ”提供免费下载的消息；今天早晨获知新单曲“Echoplex”提供免费下载；现在又获知他们的最新专辑“The Slip”提供免费下载。九寸钉的创作力真是惊人，他们抛弃传统唱片业的勇气真是惊人。下图是这张专辑的封面。

这张专辑共10首歌，总长约44分钟，包括我们上面提到的那首单曲。提交email地址就可以获得下载链接，而且可以把这张专辑作为礼物发给朋友们，写上朋友的email地址，下载链接就会发过去了。另外下载的格式也极多，包括MP3、FLAC 、M4A、24/96 WAV，音质由低到高，大小也从87mb上升到1.2gb。

九寸钉（Nine Inch Nails）是一个传奇金属乐队，乐队风格难以一言概括，“重金属”、“流行重金属”、“工业摇滚”、“死亡摇滚”，由他去吧。

九寸钉加入了成名乐队脱离音乐厂商，独自利用互联网发行唱片的行列。RadioHead去年发布的“In Rainbows”是第一次尝试。

九寸钉的新专辑叫作“Ghosts I-IV ” ，一共有36首，可以到这里下载。其中前9首为免费下载，5美元可以获得全部36首歌，10美元可以预订2张CD，另外还有75美元和300美元两种不同包装的版本，其中300美元的为限量版。

Practice What You Preach: Nine Inch Nails Gives Away New Album

(via Mashable) It’s not like we doubted him, but Trent Reznor really meant it when he said that he hates the way the music industry operates and that he encourages sharing of his music on the internet. Nine Inch Nails have put up the first volume of their album ‘Ghosts’ on torrent sites, under a creative commons license. Tasmin Little是当今乐坛最活跃的小提琴演奏家之一，在2006-2007繁忙的世界巡演之后，她要进行一个新的尝试，把最新录制的独奏专辑免费在她的网站上提供下载。

她说，“古典音乐正在遭受被误解的痛苦，必须有人站出来做点什么。”这张新专辑的名字叫做“赤裸的小提琴”，3首乐曲完全由小提琴演绎，没有伴奏，Tasmin Little想告诉人们小提琴能够做到多好。

这个在网上提供免费下载音乐的主意是受到了RadioHead去年在网上销售音乐的启发。不过Tasmin并不想以此赚钱，她只是想让更多的人了解到小提琴的魅力。

1月15日，“赤裸的小提琴”正式上线提供下载。现在网站上已经有很多过去录制的曲目或者广播节目提供下载了，听听吧。

Tasmin Little is one of the most famous and active violinist, she strongly feels that the classic suffers from misperception, she wants to do someting to attract more people to listen to the classic music.

Gotten inspiration from RadioHead’s internet sale experiment, Tasmin will offer free download of her new album named “The naked violin” which has 3 accompanied vilion solo. The  new album will debut on  Jan 15.
