随着TD-SCDMA的试商用，人们将越来越多的通过3G服务在手机上浏览内容丰富的网页，网站最好都有自己的手机版本，来友好的迎接手机访问用户。Wirenode就是提供这种将网站转化为手机版的服务。只要输入网址，然后进行一些简单的界面编辑就行了。下图是它的编辑界面。

左侧显示的是手机版的样子，每个模块都可以上下移动，可以添加模块（add component），比如添加图片，添加widget。还有一排简单的编辑工具，可以调整文字的颜色、位置、大小等等。可以随时预览（preview at the fake phone）。Wirenode准备了一些模板，比如我使用的模板是“google”。

Wirenode给我提供的手机版链接是：silencewolf.wirenode.mobi。大家可以点击看看效果。Wirenode还提供了一些小图标，用来提示这个网站有手机版，比如这一个。

绝大多数的网站，特别是个人网站都没有专门的手机版本，也就是常说的WAP。但是没有专门的手机版本并不意味着你的站点无法被手机用户访问，因为还有Google搜索存在。

手机版的Google搜索的结果，是包括了手机版本和普通版本的混合体。也就是说，即使你没有手机版本，你的网站同样可以被手机用户通过搜索结果来浏览。

为什么可以做到这一点呢？这是因为当google发现这不是一个手机版本的时候，它会自动对这个站点进行编码，以适合在手机上显示，这项技术称为google transcoder。

哇，说了这么长的“前言”，现在开始进入正题。Mowser，一个专注于手机使用的搜索引擎，号称自己拥有比google transcoder好的多的编码技术。Mowser专门做了一个演示页面，只需要添加一个网址，下面就会同时显示经过Mowser编码的页面，和经过google编码的页面。比如输入Techcrunch的网址，会得到下面的结果（点击看大图）：

无论是英文的还是中文的网站，Mowser显示的界面确实更简洁、工整一些，文字大小也更舒服一些。

Mowser还宣称自己有两点更大的好处：第一，Google Adsence可以在手机上正常显示；第二，你可以自己设置手机“版本”的模样。

Although many websites have no particular mobile version, but the site still could be accessed via google search.When google gets a site, it’ll tell wether which has a moblie version, if not,  goolge will “make” a mobile site for you by the technology of google transcoder.

Mowser, a mobile search engine, asserts that it can do a better job to mobilize a common website than google transcoder. Mowser made a comparison page to show the difference. See the two pictures above, you’ll feel that there are different definitely. Mowser is neater than google, the font size is more sizable.
