还记得那个“用图片搜索图片”的TinEye吗？给它一张图片或者图片链接，它就会帮你在网络上搜索相同或者相似的图片。这个搜索引擎又推出了两个逗趣的widget，一个是150种“蒙娜丽莎”，一个是150种“Linux小企鹅”。都是用tineye搜索出来的图片，然后做成了流动、渐变的效果。点击Play可以快速浏览。点击图片下面的链接可以看到图片所在的网页。看看吧，很精彩哟。

What you are seeing is 150+ different retouched variations of the same  image. They were all found on the web using TinEye, simply by searching for an untouched version of the original (the first image you see in the series). We took the results of our search and put them into this image flow interface, which allows you to scan through the different images and see the differences between them. link

关于人脸识别游戏（好吧，是技术），我们介绍过两个，一个是Myheritage，一个是MyFaceID。如果你还没有厌倦的话，那么来试试Picollator，从电脑中或者网络上导入一张照片，让picollator给出答案。我上传了一张安吉丽娜朱莉的照片，搜索结果如下。

结果中有两位男子，对此picollator的解释是，他们看的是脸，男女的脸有时就是很像，好像孩子，有的像爸爸，有的像妈妈。中间的第一张和第三张也让人印象深刻。每张图片下面都有一个“寻找相似（find similar）” 的提示，可以这样永永远远的找下去，大有一生二，二生三，三生万物之感。

无论是google图片搜索，还是flickr的搜索，因为都是关键字搜索，所以都受到语言的限制。比如我想搜“prisonbreak”的图片，如果一个图片的关键字只是汉语“越狱”，那么我将搜不到它。同样的，也搜不到法语的、西班牙语的、蒙古语的越狱。

华盛顿大学推出了一个跨语言的图片搜索引擎——panimages，与一般搜索引擎不同的是，在搜索框之下，除了按钮search，还有一个按钮translate。见下图。

Translate是需要由用户来协助完成的，比如“whale”这个词，已经有40多种语言的词了，还有汉语拼音呢。这样当搜索whale时，包含鲸、velryba（捷克语）等关键词的图片也会被搜索到了。忘了说了，panimages目前只显示flickr和google image的搜索结果。左边的是flickr，右边的是google，大有花一样钱买两样的感觉。见下图，点击看大图。

The startup named Panimages is a cross-lingual image search engine,search flickr and google image in 100’s of languages using automatic query translation.The queries in different languages rely on the users to add.The search results include many languages.For a example,you search “whale”,you’ll get result of velryba,Czech.
