标签的作用是把内容从海量信息中区分出来，容易检索到，它也是搜索引擎抓取的重要内容之一。正因为只是“之一”，所以当你需要明确的关于某个标签的信息的时候，用百度用google搜索，这些标签信息是和其他关键信息混合在一起的。这就是taggylicio.us瞄准的需求，它是专门搜索标签的搜索引擎。

taggylicio.us目前覆盖的社群站点包括图片类的flickr、photobucket，视频类的youtube、dailymotion（国内访问需代理），新闻聚合类的digg、reddit和deli.cio.us。一次搜索，就可以获得图片、视频、热点新闻三种信息，搜索结果要来得更精确一些。下图是搜索“yahoo, microsoft”两个标签的结果。点击看大图。

大约两个月前，我们向大家报告了Flickr将允许添加视频的消息，今天这个功能正式上线了。下图是一位叫k’s photostream的用户的页面截图。

这条大狗就是一段视频，右图是照片，可以看出二者在形式上非常一致。点击图上的播放按钮就可以播放。但是为什么不让人兴奋呢？因为只有高级用户才能上传视频，25美元一年。可以上传的视频限制在90秒以内，容量150M以内。普通用户只能看。同youtube一样，flickr上的视频也可以嵌入到自己的页面。来看看段清晰的视频吧，可爱的大狗！

Flickr今天推出了一项新功能——自动替你找朋友。登录后会发现左上角有一个找朋友的提示（下面是一则关于这项功能的blog新闻），点击就会看到像左图这样的提示：提交你的雅虎邮箱或者gmail、hotmail信箱的用户名和密码，很快，Flickr就会从你的联系人列表里，找出谁也是flickr的用户，然后问你要不要把他们加为朋友。

如果不是用过spokeo的话，我可能会怀疑这里涉及到隐私问题，其实每个人的用户资料里大概都有email，flickr做的只不过是把你的联系人列表和它的数据库对一遍罢了。

用过一次邮件搜索之后，在登录也就看不到搜人提示了，再搜的话，要在Contacts——people search中进行。

我还是挺喜欢这个服务的，看到平常打过交道的人也在flickr上，而且有很多好照片，那么，交个朋友吧。

youtube、myspace、flickr这样的大型社群网站，给了我们放置视频、音乐、图片的空间，让我们有机会和别人交流，这是多么好。可是无一例外的，这些站点都没有提供数据统计服务，也就是说究竟多少人来造访我们的空间，我们是完全不知道的。

Traackr瞄准的就是这项空缺，除上面提到的3大站点之外，还包括rewer、dailymotion、 vox、lastfm。操作很简单，只要输入用户名，然后等上24小时，结果就出来了。下图是我的youtube的浏览情况。

也可以把几个项目放在一起，发起一个“campain”，traackr会把几个项目的统计结果放到一个图表里显示。

今天雅虎视频频道重新上线，除了“娱乐和电视”这个分类里多了一点黄颜色的东西以外，没有什么新东西，倒是频道首页最下方的一个小链接引人关注。见下图。

“Share your stuff on Flickr” ，除去这句话以外，这一列所有的链接都和视频有关，难道Flickr也将具有视频分享功能？这听起来是个不错的主意，因为无论是手机还是数码相机，基本上都有拍照和录影的功能，既然大家把图片都放到了Flickr上，视频也同时传上去算了，还省了时间了。

Flick的联合创始人Stewart Butterfield去年夏天曾说，Flickr将很快添加视频分享的功能，可是现在他就要离开Flickr了，视频功能还是没有出现。

考虑到目前Flickr的母公司雅虎正面临的动荡，以及极有可能在讨价还价后接受微软的收购，Flickr转变定位是一件很难的事情。

如果Flickr真的具备了添加视频的功能，那么势必同目前的雅虎视频频道产生竞争。Valleywag倒是转述了一种“传说”：Flickr以用户贡献内容为主，而Y!video则专注于专业的视频内容，就像Hulu一样。

写信（包括电子邮件）、打电话是美国民众最常使用的抗议手段，他们通过塞满别人的信箱、打爆别人的电话的方式来告诉对方自己的不满。现在他们可以让对方实实在在看到自己的愤怒了，Flickr和Youtube成了美国人抗议的新战场。

目前正在进行的“停止窃听”运动就是一个很好的例子。这个运动的目的在于阻止国会通过电信豁免法案。自911以后，美国的电信公司和国家安全局合作，监听私人电话，旨在拉网式搜索恐怖分子的线索。不过，这种行为的依据只是总统的命令，电信豁免法旨在将这种行为永久合法化。

“停止窃听”运动就是要保持人们的隐私权不受侵犯。这次运动的最大特色就是使抗议可视化，无论是flickr上的图片，还是youtube上的视频，都是一个个真实的人。

继Google、Facebook、Plaxo决定集体加入“便携资料”工作组（DataPortability Workgroup）之后，微软也决定加入，这无疑是“便携资料”工作组取得的一个巨大成果。微软将在这一两天之内对外公布此消息。尽管微软不是一个web2.0公司，但是有超过4亿用户在使用hotmail和windows live messenger。

此前该工作组曾发布消息说，LinkedIn、Flickr、SixApart也将加入这个工作组。

据LiveSino报道，该项目将由 Windows Live 平台公司副总裁 David Treadwell 负责。

Flickr和其他图片分享网站一样，是个人图片爱好者的天堂，但它也不拒绝公共来源的图片，美国国会图书馆在flickr上建立了自己的专区，一下就上传了超过3000张图片。这些图片分为两类，一类是1910年代的新闻图片，一类是上世纪30——40年代的彩色照片。

下面是一张拳击比赛的照片，大约拍摄于1910-1915年之间，照片上还写着3个人的名字，点击看大图。

下图是一张拍摄于1940年10月的照片，缅因州两个小学生在农场里收土豆，那时候农场里的土豆不收完，学校是不开学的。点击看大图。

这两个孩子现在也应该是70多岁的老人了吧。互联网是平民的天堂，一个网站初建时如果能够引入大量的公共资源，自然可以为快速成长助力。但是如果最初没有这个条件，在网站成熟之后，也可以考虑引入公共资源，增强竞争力。

Flickr和Picnic的合作终于结出了幸福果实——flickr的图片编辑功能上线了！作为一个最大的图片分享社区，图片编辑似乎是理所应当就应该具有的功能，然而这个功能来的确实有些慢。

点击一张图片，在图片的上方就会看到“edit photo”了。点击这个按钮就会进入到这个界面，见下图，点击看大图：

可以看出，这就是picnic的页面嵌套，所有工具一应俱全。

回忆一下11月flickr推出的地图功能。这是一个恣意遨游的地方，你可以通过搜索来到一个心仪已久的城市，关于这个城市的图片全部呈现在地图下方，而地图上标示着这些图片拍摄的地点。或者也可以去那不知名的城市，只要在世界地图上轻轻点击一下，那里的人文美景尽在眼前。

虽然世界地图这个功能是在11月才正式上线的，但是其实已经经过长时间的准备了，这就是Organiz-your map，这项服务允许你把图片放到地图当中实际拍摄的城市和地区。当这些拍摄地明确的图片聚成规模以后，地图功能也就实现了。
