Trendpedia：博客趋势查询的利器
前天我们刚刚介绍完新推出的twitter trends，顺便又提了一下google trends和百度指数。现在要说的这个trendpedia，是一个提供博客搜索和博客趋势查询的服务。
和其他的“trends”相同的地方我们就不说了（比如可以搜索单个词汇，多个单个词汇的比较），它有一个突出的“复合”查询功能，即高级搜索（advanced search），比如我可以搜索“IE7 and Firefox”的趋势，同样也可以将“IE7 and Firefox”和“iPhone and Nokia N95”进行比较。见下图。
趋势显示有两种形式，一种是曲线图，一种是饼图。鼠标掠过的时候，会出现文章的数量。在两幅图的下面还有具体的文章搜索结果（图片下面的标签），点击线图中的某个时间点，就会出现那天的搜索结果。
trendpedia会和老牌的blogpulse产生直接的竞争。不过blogpulse有两个工具是trendpedia所没有的，一个叫作“conversation tracker”，一个叫“blogpulse profiles”。
Conversation tracker实际上是链接的跟踪服务，B引用了A的链接，那么B就和A构成了一个对话。blogpulse profiles则是一个关于博客的档案，一个博客排名多少，发的文章列表，别人引用它的文章，它引用别人的文章等等。这个服务还处在测试阶段。

The service, now out of beta, lets you scan the blogosphere for trends to see what’s getting buzz.
