关于twitter的小工具有很多，我们介绍过一些，比如tweetstats，一个twitter数据统计工具。今天我们再来介绍一些，有的实用，有的就当它是水果糖吧。

1. twitter browser。输入你的twitter用户名，你的朋友们就会在你周围环绕，点击你的朋友，他（她）的朋友又会自动在他（她）身边围绕，还带着最新的tweet。

2. tweetvolume。嗯，有点用，可以比较一下哪些词在twitter中比较热，比如几款浏览器。

3. twittermeter。又一个比较工具，有一周内每天的详细数字，但是数据旧了点。Obama在twitter上的人气就是高。

4. twittervision。每当有人在twitter上发声的时候，我们就能在地球上看到他（她）。有3D和平面地图两种观看方式。

5. twitterposter。大家挤在一张海报里好热闹啊。当鼠标滑过，你会看到他（她）的地点，朋友的人数，和最近说了点什么。

6. twitter blocks。边缘橘红色的是twitter时间链上的人们说的话，然后顺着这一条，就是这个说话的人和他的朋友们的街区。

youtube、myspace、flickr这样的大型社群网站，给了我们放置视频、音乐、图片的空间，让我们有机会和别人交流，这是多么好。可是无一例外的，这些站点都没有提供数据统计服务，也就是说究竟多少人来造访我们的空间，我们是完全不知道的。

Traackr瞄准的就是这项空缺，除上面提到的3大站点之外，还包括rewer、dailymotion、 vox、lastfm。操作很简单，只要输入用户名，然后等上24小时，结果就出来了。下图是我的youtube的浏览情况。

也可以把几个项目放在一起，发起一个“campain”，traackr会把几个项目的统计结果放到一个图表里显示。

Youtube似乎从来没有什么改变，用户上传内容、观看、打分、评论，不能编辑，没有统计数据，不过很快Youtube都会有了，据IAN报道。其他网站提供的youtube应用可能要发愁生计了。

我们来一一说一下即将发生的变化。

1. active sharing功能，这是一个目前在测试的功能，即显示同时观看一段视频的用户的名字。

2.  升级视频编辑工具。广大用户早就盼着这一天了。

3. 视频推荐服务。这在社群网站里是很常见的功能，“或许您也会喜欢……”

4.  视频更适合在多种平台播放，比如手机和电视。

5. 了解用户行为（比如分析用户的评论），这对重度用户很重要。

6.  提供访问用户的分析数据，就像google analytics那样。

7. 不算是创新，发起几个大的视频（竞赛）活动。比如中各种奇怪的运动，活着的传奇（比如滚石乐队）。
