像娱乐类的和政治类的博客，需要大量的时事图片、人物图片，比如刚刚取得大选胜利的马英九这类事件，在报道中缺少一张震撼的图片是不可想象的。但是博客受到自身财力的约束，购买大量的版权图片又是不可能的，因此只好到处借用，然后还一个链接回去。PicApp给了想使用版权图片的博客提供了一个选择，也就是用一个picapp提供的widget，上面有图片和广告。像上图一样。

使用picapp也很简单，在搜索框里填入关键词进行搜索，找到图片后选后合适的尺寸，复制嵌入代码，粘帖到文章里就行了。当鼠标滑过图片时，会显示广告；当鼠标滑过左上角那个小人儿脑袋时，会显示分享给朋友、发布到其他社群网站等小工具。
