左图中的华裔男子叫马恺文（Jeff Ma），1991年入麻省理工学院。1994年，他和5位同学一起研究纸牌游戏21点，并创立了一套独特的算牌方法。周末，这些学生就用假身份混迹于拉斯维加斯的各大赌场，最多的时候一夜就能挣90万美元。后来，各大赌场都拒绝为他们服务，马恺文也只好金盆洗手。

(via wired) MIT student Jeff Ma and five of his classmates used fake IDs, disguises and high IQs to outsmart Nevada casinos to the tune of several million dollars in the mid-1990s. When Kevin Spacey read about the crew’s card-counting exploits in a 2002 Wired magazine article, the Hollywood player decided to produce a movie inspired by the geeks’ conquest of Las Vegas.
