以下两张图表来源于The Oil Drum，一张图描述的是世界上一些国家的水泥产量，另一张图是说这个产量占世界总产量的比例。我看到这两张图时觉得脊背发凉。

这些数据来源于美国地质勘探局（USGS）2006年和2008年的报告，可以点击下载。我们国家的情况是，2007年水泥产量达到13亿吨，占世界总产量的一半，只有很少量的出口。

水泥是最重要的建筑材料之一，盖房子、修路都要用到，而盖房子用得比修路显然要多的多，因此可以不恰当的来看这组数据，我们国家新盖的房子占了世界的一半。

今天是地球日，不过有些扫兴的是，并没有看到世界自然基金会或者联合国环境署有什么吸引人的举动。Google在昨天推出了地球日地图，大家可以写写今天想干点什么，能对环境有好处，还可以录成视频，传到youtube上，然后也加到这张地图里。比如这个科罗拉多女孩要做的就是自己带着袋子去购物。

Google在去年地球日的时候，把logo画成了一座正在融化的冰山，提醒人们气候正在变暖。看明天google会带来什么吧。

据VentureBeat报道，2007年7月间，Google参与了康盛创想（Comsenz）第二轮融资，共投资约100万美元，而这则投资消息来源并非出自双方之口，而是在google向美国证券交易委员会(SEC)提交的管理文档（regulatory filing）中发现的。下面是该文档的涉及这笔投资的部分。具体可以看这里，第39页。

红杉资本中国基金自首轮投资后，本轮再次注资康盛创想，目前已占有该公司超过10%的股份。迈克尔莫里茨（Michael Moritz）是红杉资本中国基金的合伙人之一，他也是google前董事会成员，2007年5月离开google董事会。

Google在中国搜索市场上一直不能翻身，因此借助资本的力量与门户网站（新浪）和社区网站（天涯）进行合作，向大规模的用户推广google的产品。与新浪和天涯合作的轰轰烈烈相比，google对康盛创想的投资显得偷偷摸摸。

康盛创想目前的主要产品还是它的论坛disquz平台，不过它的新产品Ucenter Home却是一款社群网站平台软件。

经过经年的战争，音像产业内部对待BT的态度已经产生了分歧。一部分人仍然坚持认为BT是盗版的恶源，并继续穷追起诉；另一部分人则认识到了这项技术的另外一面，开始运用这个平台进行市场营销，比如提前发布预告片，对于独立制作人来说，他们更是通过BT，让更多的观众看到了他们的成果。
