Twitter绝对是一个新闻线索的集中所在，因为它发布快速，简短，而且用户众多，相当于众多的平民记者，对于新闻的先知先觉，twitter应该是用处最大的。不过优势同时也是劣势，因为人们不知道该到哪里去找新闻，不知道什么最热。我们介绍过的tweetmeme就是一个很好的twitter热点消息聚合站点，而现在要说的Twitt（url）y，也是一个大海捞针的利器。看看它的界面。

Twitturly的工作是找出最热的链接（看它的logo，特地在url加了括号）。这个截图中的链接是目前最热的，有42个twitter信息中发布了这个链接。点击View More Info就会看到这完整的42个twitter信息的列表。在大标题下面有一些信息摘录。

Twitturly还有一个很好的功能就是语言过滤，即只看你希望看到的那种语言的twitter信息，比如可以只看中文（包括繁体中文）内容的twitter信息。目前的头条是柏杨病逝。

It aggregates URLs linked in Twitter messages and puts them on the home page based on overall popularity, calculated simply by determining the number of times the URL was in a Twitter message. Intel Mash Maker是这次旧金山Web 2.0 Expo上的一个非常引人关注的产品，一个由硬件公司Intel带来的网页插件。它是做什么的呢？从使用情况看，它可以把任何一个网页变成一个widget，然后可以把这些网页widget和其他的wiget混合在一起，构成一个新的网页。有些抽象是吧，看看下面这张图，点击看大图。

感觉乱乱的是吧。这原本是一个新浪体育的网页，然后我又在网页的顶端加上了我的网站和Google地图的widget以及百度的首页，这么做，纯粹是为了试验一下Intel Mash Maker的威力。

图中左上角红色圈着的就是Mash Maker的工具条。上边有一个大家非常熟悉的复制和粘帖的图标，它们可以直接复制、粘帖网页到一个新的网页。点击工具条左边第二个按钮，会出现一个侧边工具栏，其中有很多的widget可以贴到网页中，比如google地图、时钟、mp3播放器什么的。

点击最右侧的针样的按钮，就可以固定这个搅拌过的页面，点击星星就可以保持了。下次当我再输入新浪体育的网址时，看到的就是这样一个混合页面。

Intel Mash Maker还处在早期阶段，这个插件目前仅适用于Firefox3和IE7。现在这个阶段的产品，对于制作网页的意义还不大，因为我们还无法对复制的网页及网页当中的内容进行进一步的编辑。

(via webware) Intel wants to make the whole Web editable, just like a single Wikipedia page.

The chip giant on Tuesday will make a beta available of Intel Mash Maker, a free browser extension that allows users to modify Web pages and combine information from different sources. Its first beta works with Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 7, though at this point the features are far more mature in Firefox, Intel said.

The product, which originated in Intel’s research labs, is similar to existing mash-up tools like Yahoo Pipes and Microsoft Popfly in that it has a graphical design tool. Read more.

好吧，我承认，昨天和今天说百度Hi说的有点神志不清了。在以前介绍很好很强大的Digsby的时候，我说过IM+SNS+email在一个客户端中出现是一个趋势，即又能和msn上的朋友聊天，又能和社群网站上的朋友聊天，信箱里收到了信也不用换到网页或者Outlook上去查看。Babuki这个新的综合客户端也是这个趋势的体现，和digsby不同的是，它是一个网页平台，同时也有一个基于adobe air的桌面软件，用起来很轻巧。下面是它的网页平台的样子。

Babuki默认以facebook帐户登录，登录后可以添加msn、雅虎messenger、AIM、Myspace等等联系人信息。注意顶端的SMS和Mail两个按钮，bakuki的计划中有通过它的facebook页面给联系人发短信和管理邮件的服务，不过现在开来还没有开通。（最下方的第二个按钮指向一个很奇怪的链接）

为什么题目中用了个问号呢？一是因为babuki的服务还很不健全，二是facebook很快就要推出自己的聊天工具了，留给bakuki的时间不多。

百度Hi为什么不和社群站点、不和邮件管理结合呢？

That’s the power of complete and instantaneous distribution possessed by Facebook alone, and it’s what made us declare all 3rd party IM apps on Facebook as “basically dead”. …but a newly launched service called Babuki IM still thinks it has a chance to become the preferred IM client on Facebook.

集成各种IM工具的平台至少有Meebo/Airtalkr，meebo的功能很简单，连传输文件也是最近才完成的；airtalkr则集成了youtube搜索、flickr搜索等功能，因此更胜一筹。参见以前的文章“Meebo来了一个对手Airtalkr”。

现在，Flickim来了，集成了更多的IM(aim/msn/gtalk/yahoo/icq/jabber)，登录以后，你会发现它集成了更多网络应用工具。系统默认的有yoink’d和livenation events。更多的在设置（setting）里。点击看大图。

我以前对yoink’d一无所知，但是通过flickim我喜欢上了它，当我查找我最喜欢的歌曲 “orange sky”时，竟然有5个版本的video!

Gmail内置也不错。它还会内置更多的widget。但是目前Flickim对中文似乎不支持。

如果你是Meebo的用户，现在可以考虑试一试Airtalkr了。Airtalkr有基于web的应用，还有基于Air平台的桌面软件。我选择了试用web，毕竟是和meebo做比较嘛。注册过程很简单，不需要邮箱激活链接什么的。然后就是填写各个IM的用户名和密码，airtalkr现在支持messenger/yahoo/gtalk/aim/icq五种IM。
Airtalkr内置了搜索功能，可以在flickr上搜图，在youtube上搜视频。并且有youtube的热门视频n段。总之，感觉很不错。

English Brief:Airtalkr,a new coming competitor of Meebo,has a web app and a desktop version based on Adobe Air.Just like what airtalkr says “it’s not just a im”,it integrates the feature of flickr and youtube search.
