作为民主党的总统候选人竞争者，奥巴马（Obama）和希拉里（Hillary）有很多区别，比如，呃……一个是男一个是女。开个玩笑，看看下面这两张图吧。

左面这幅图是希拉里的twitter页面的侧边栏，右边这幅是奥巴马的twitter页面的侧边栏。区别已经用蓝框标出来了：第一个区别是名字不同，第二个是奥巴马跟（following）了很多人，而希拉里一个也没跟。一个也没跟。

Following在twitter里相当于加别人为好友，可以随时接收对方更新的信息，也就是听到他们正在说什么。这对于政治家太重要了，如果一个政治家从来不在乎别人说什么，那么人们为什么要把选票投给他呢？从上图还可以看出，希拉里一个人也没有跟，跟她的人也只有3340；反观跟奥巴马的人达到了25756。

共和党的麦凯恩（McCain）在哪里？别找了，他根本没有twitter帐户。

这就是为什么奥巴马将成为总统，而希拉里和麦凯恩都不行。（需要说明一下，奥巴马的following可能是自动设置的，但这已经算做的不错了。何况，他跟的人比跟他的人还要多一点。）

跟（following）在twitter里相当于加为好友，有following（你跟了别人）和follower（别人跟了你）的区别，这两个数字往往不同。点击可以查看following和follower到底是谁，可是无法知道互相following的人是谁。Karma提供的帮助就是告诉你，你跟了谁，谁跟了你，你和谁互相跟。太绕嘴了，看看下面的图吧。

只有一个红色单箭头的，就表示别人跟了你（你没跟别人），只有一个绿箭头的是你跟了别人（别人没跟你），有红绿两个箭头的，就是你们互相跟了。 karma这个名字是佛语中“业”的意思。
