对于研究人员和新闻媒体来说，所引用资料的权威性直接关系到研究成果的可靠性和报道的真实性。联合国刚刚推出的UN Data就为需要权威、专业资料的人们提供了一个资料库，可以很方便的查找联合国的各项统计数据，包括国家情况、人口、环境、能源等各个领域。下图是它的首页，一个搜索框，非常简单。

比如要搜索二氧化碳排放（co2 emissions），会得到一系列搜索结果，其中就包括各个国家二氧化碳排放量的统计。UN data一个非常好用的地方在于，可以通过过滤（filters）来比较不同国家之间某一年度的情况，比如，可以比较中国、印度、英国、美国2004年二氧化碳的排放情况。见下图，点击看大图。

有没有这样的时候，你需要接收一封电子邮件，却不想使用自己的电邮信箱？那么GuerrillaMail可以给你一个临时的电子邮件地址，在15分钟的有效期内，你可以用这个临时的邮件地址接收邮件。见下图，点击看大图。

最上面的就是我的临时邮件地址，下面是我用AOL信箱发的一封测试信。当你在没有收到确认信的时候，可以点击中间绿色的“刷新”图标查看。最下面的时间是邮件地址的有效期，如果15分钟不够的话，你可以再要求增加15分钟，我最多连续增加了4次，没有什么问题。

在测试这项服务的过程中发生过接受不到邮件的情况，特别是在使用opera和firefox的时候，因此要有充分的思想准备哦:) 不管怎么说，这是一个不错的创意。
