上面这个漂亮的魔方，是PrimeTimeRewind（PTR）提供的一个播放器。这个魔方可以上下左右随便拖动。魔方当中的每个小方块都是一部热播的美剧，点击可以进入PTR网站播放。不过，我们现在不能真正的看到这些电视剧，因为它们多数都只在美国本土播放。不过，光看看也好，做内容聚合想到这么一个漂亮的点子值得赞一下。

PTR的剧集播放分为两种方式，一是像Hulu这样的提供视频嵌入代码的，就直接嵌入，这没有什么问题；二是很多不提供嵌入代码的网站，PTR就在别人的网页外再套一个自己的界面，这种“拿来主义”和myspace news的无耻行为就是一样的了。不过，似乎也没谁因为这样做而被起诉。

人们对互联网不满意的地方还有很多，比如网络视频的视觉效果比电视要差的多。嗯，也许吧。先看看下面这张图吧，点击看大图。

这是一部名为“穿越阿拉斯加（Over Alaska）”的电视节目，这张图片是网络传输这个节目时的一张截图，当时我看着这么清晰的画面，正不知道截哪段好。

这就是GridNetworks创造的网络视频传输技术，这是一种传统的CDN(内容传递网络) 传输技术和P2P（点对点）传输技术的结合。节目开始播放时，是cdn方式传输，在10-30秒之后，进行p2p传输。这是完全的高清视频，而且播放时非常流畅。利用这项技术，用户可以在电脑上观看高清电视节目或者下载。

Cisco Invests in Hybrid Content Delivery Network, GridNetworks

由英国公司Skinkers制造、采用微软P2P视频传播技术、运行在sliverlight平台的Livestation诞生了！（好长的定语！）顾名思义，livestation向用户实时传送电视节目。用户只要拥有宽带就可以收看到高画质的电视节目。

目前Livestation处在“技术测试（technical trial）” 阶段，发布的这一版本也只是让用户首先有一个感性的认识。界面见下图。

缓冲时间很短，画面质量应该说不错，但是在我的这台电脑上只能持续不到30秒钟，然后就显示没信号。因为处在非常初级的阶段，合作的电视台/电台很少，只有7家。这可能是由于地区的限制，目前有的节目这能在某个地区才能收到。

目前只能向大家报告这些信息，我会随时关注livestation的发展。申请livestation注册可以点击这里。

Livestation launches beta of TV streaming service
