不要害怕，这不是什么秘密社团的标志，它是Wuala的Logo，这是一家瑞士公司，提供在线存储服务。
也许你看到这里就顿时失去了兴趣，又是在线存储。是的，但是别急着离开。它不同于X-Drive、Streamload、Box.net、Mofile，Rapidshare、YouSendIt。有什么不同？Wuala不限时间，不限单个文件大小，不限总的大小（根据贡献），不限流量。
为什么它能做到？因为wuala是一个P2P文件存储和分享平台。我们的原始文件被加密并分割成小块储存在服务器里，然后这些小块再被分割存在其他用户的电脑硬盘里。也就是说我们的文件是一个一个的加密小块存储在一个个或大或小的服务器（PC）里面。
也许说明了运作过程，大家对安全性的问题不会太担心了。存在别人那里的自己的文件只是一小部分，而且进行了加密。
下载的时候，大部分是从其他用户的PC里面下载，如果碰巧一位用户没有在线，那么这部分文件可以从wuala的服务器中下载。这样wuala公司节省了绝大部分带宽费用。而每位参与的用户真正发挥了P2P的骑士精神。
要成为骑士是要付出代价的，一是在线时间必须超过每天4小时，这样能够尽可能多的保证用户能够从其他用户那里下载到每一片文件；二是必须贡献自己的硬盘空间，属于投桃报李之举。但是究竟在线多长时间，贡献多大空间，能换回多大回报，因为我用的时间短，现在还不可知，我会陆续对这篇文章进行更新汇报。
Wuala需要下载并安装一个软件，然后进行上传和下载。目前Wuala还在邀请测试阶段，还不能从Web管理文件。我这里还有2个邀请注册名额，需要的话可以留言，先到先得。

这是我在上传一首歌时的截图。Wuala对上传文件类型没有任何限制，你可以批量上传，甚至可以上传整个文件夹。Wuala支持文件的拖拽功能。
大家也许注意到了，在导航栏里还有“朋友”、“小组”、“世界”三个2.0功能。你可以发email邀请朋友参加，或者直接在skype和facebook中邀请；可以创建小组，邀请朋友共建（现在还没有测试）；“世界”就是看看其他用户都上传了哪些东西，可以通过搜索找到你想要的东西。不过由于限制了分享的级别，很多文件还都不能下载。比如搜索“tree”:
很有意思的是，在右下角还有一个相关产品——One Tree Hil的DVD，点击这个链接直接进入了亚马逊网上商店。这因该是Wuala目前最明确的收入来源。
这里还有一个小bug，右键点击图片会有“设置成桌面”的功能，但目前还不管用。
其实，和Wuala最像的就是Bittorrent了，同样都是P2P大文件传输的解决办法，唯一不同的是，Bittorrent上传和下载的都是大众化的娱乐内容较多，而wuala个人存储、朋友分享的成分更大一些。
但是人们完全可以把Wuala当成Bittorrent那样使用，因此wuala也会面临版权风险，尽管这个风险相对于bittorrent要小很多。
更新消息：Wuala来信通告，发送邀请的权限增加到15个，而且成功邀请1位注册就可以获得1G的免费空间。

How could wuara do that? Actually because wuala and the uses represent the true p2p spirit. The file uploaded is distributed many encrypted small pieces saved at the wuala sever, then wuala cuts all the pieces into another amounts of segments delivered to the other users’ pc and stored.
If you want to download the file, all the segments will get together from thousands of PCs, if some user happened to be offline, then wuala server can replace it to deliver these segments. This helps wuala save much of broad-band money.
Know how it works, maybe you don’t need to so worry about your privacy. Another question is the time and space i distribute will return me what values? There’s no accurate introduction on the site, i’ll check gradually and update the posts.
Wuala is a social network web site. You can invite friends from email or just directly from skype and facebook account. The feature called group isn’t test now.Aother main feature is “world”, you can see what other users upload,search and download you like, of course only when you’re invited or the file’s conditon is public.
