我们小时候大概都听过这样的话：如果从脚下一直挖的话，会从美国探出头来。不知道这个故事流传了多久了，似乎从直觉上也是如此，中国和美国不是正好在地球对应的两侧吗？可是这个叫作DigHole的网站并不这么认为，如果从中国一直往下挖的话，会到达南美洲，比如巴西、智利，或者太平洋。见下图。

这是什么道理呢？这个网站并没有讲。如果哪位朋友知道，可以在留言中告诉大家。至少很好玩，只要拖动地图，就会知道一个地方对应的地球的另一个地方。比如从美国往下挖的话，也不是到中国，而是澳大利亚西边的印度洋。

当艺术与互联网碰撞到一起的时候总是让人兴奋，因为碰撞的是两个自由本体。澳大利亚悉尼一家名叫“硬盘画社（Hardware Gallery）”的画廊，自去年春天开始，就邀请一些艺术家进行游戏似的“命题”创作。

具体是这样的：艺术家们在同一时间，用google图片搜索，搜索同一个关键词，然后在同一个结果页上，每个人选一个搜索结果，作为自己的灵感来源，创作一幅作品。

今年搜索的命题是“根深蒂固（completely rooted）” ，12位艺术家的作品将在3月1日展出，我对这一幅感到瞠目结舌。

去年的命题是“难料结局（unintended consequences）”，我对这些鱼印象深刻。

这是一个叫Slapcorey(扇Corey两巴掌)的网站截图。目前已经有超过71万人扇过Corey了，在不到10天的时间里。这个带着墨镜的酷酷的男孩究竟是谁呢？为什么这么多人想打他耳光？

Corey Delaney是澳大利亚墨尔本的一个16岁男孩，他趁父母外出度假，在Myspace上发了一个聚会的帖子。结果几百人参加了他的聚会，他们在一起喝酒，然后把酒瓶砸碎，扔的大街上到处都是；毁坏了邻居家的草地和草地上的装饰物；在街上裸奔；当警察前来阻止时，甚至砸坏了警车的玻璃。

这就是这个16岁男孩的疯狂派对。他被警察带走了，并开出了2万澳元的罚单。这个男孩立刻成了澳大利亚的新闻人物。当接收aca的电视连线采访时，他和主播之间有一段对话（他一直带着墨镜）：

非常叛逆的回答。下面就是这段采访视频。

他说他会向父母和邻居道歉，并且想法帮助父母交上罚金，尽管他认为不该被罚款。

也许他真的有机会帮助父母交上罚款。Corey已经加入了一家经纪公司，这家公司正在帮助他策划一次澳洲四城市巡回派对活动，他将成为一个专业的party组织者，并因此挣到10万澳元。

这就是Corey，在澳大利亚，喜欢他的人和恨他的人一样多。

16岁，是一个犯了错误上帝都会原谅的年纪。何况，这样的错误之后，那个男孩也许会因此找到人生的第一个目标，而不是像计划中的那样作一个木匠。

Australia wild party child turns party pro 

(via Reuters) An Australian teenager who hosted a wild party that caused a near-riot after 500 guests saw his Internet invitation has decided to turn professional and will host a national party tour, he said on Thursday.

Corey Delaney, 16, became notorious at home and abroad after throwing a party while his parents were on holidays. He posted a MySpace notice and revelers caused A$20,000 ($17,500) in damages before the party was broken up by police and the dog squad.Read more.
