Yakkle是一个小巧（不到1M，需要在Java平台上运行）免费的软件，它拥有MSN、Skype等IM软件的一切功能，比如语音通话，发送文件等等；而且具有远程控制、桌面共享的功能，关于这种功能，我们介绍过一个叫crossloop的软件。

虽然yakkle具有这么多的优势，但是我想不会有谁用它来取代现在用的MSN（尽管它越来越大）、Skype，因为重新一个一个的邀请朋友加入是一件很难想象的事情。

但是，yakkle却很适合在企业当中应用。很多企业都会用自家的IM软件来解决企业内部人员沟通的问题，yakkle可以满足；yakkle的语音和视频通话功能，实际相当于一个会议软件，免费的yakkle可以为企业省去一大笔钱。

Adobe软件的共同特征就是功能强大、体积庞大。这里介绍两款adobe reader 8.0的替代品。

一个是Adobe Reader Lite。作者的网名是Shark007，他去除了 8.0里的一些插件和功能，比如：去除了自动运行和桌面快捷方式，去除了许可协议弹出，去除了8.0版中的广告。还去除了一些他认为不太需要的功能，但没有详细说明去除了哪些。

安装时，这个版本没有提示选择安装路径，而是直接默认安装到了C:\Program Files下面。未安装前lite版是15.9M，比8.0版小了大约7M，但是安装完成后仅仅38M！（语言：en-us）

作者提供了10几种语言版本供下载，简体中文可以点击这里下载，繁体中文可以点击这里下载。

另外一个软件是Foxit Reader 2.2，安装前仅仅2.1M。但是它同时又提供了很多插件下载，估计这是一个极简单的版本，打开复杂文件的还需要系在插件。

Two alternative choice as substitute of Adobe Reader 8.0

Adobe Reader 8.0 is powerful but large too, here introduces two software that may be an alternative choice as a subsitute.

One is Adobe Reader Lite, the author removed some add-on and features, so the reader got lite. What he moved are:

I removed autorun and desktop shortcuts.
I converted the startmenu shortcut to non-advertised.
I removed several features and plugins that the average user has no need for. (Lite version)
I removed Beyond Adobe and Lic. Agreement popups.

What features he removed he didn’t explain clearly.But the lite version is cute, after install, it only occupies 38M!(en-us)

Another software is Foxit Foxit Reader 2.2, it only 2.1M before install, but it provides many add-ons to download, so if you only use the simple version, maybe some files can be opened.
