事情的起因是教育部门决定在大学当中使用微软的软件，这使得一些匈牙利人感到沮丧。这个学生被请了出去，他的衬衫上写着“微软等于腐败（Microsoft = Corruption）” 。鲍尔默在讲台后面成功的避开了鸡蛋，他的吃惊的表情迅速绽放了笑容，并说：“这是个友好的中断（It was a friendly disruption）。”从现场其他学生的反应来看，他们不认同这个扔鸡蛋的同学的行为，甚至觉得他有些可笑。

据Techcrunch报道，比尔盖茨将在明天的斯坦福大学演讲中，正式宣布启动“DreamSpark”项目，这个项目的任务是向学生提供免费的微软开发软件。这些软件包括“Visual Studio Professional”、“XNA GAME Studio”、“Expression Studio”、“SQL Server”、“Windows Server”。
首批获益的是10个国家的大学生，包括比利时、中国、芬兰、法国、德国、西班牙、瑞典、瑞士、英国、美国。其他国家的学生将在今年年内逐步获得使用资格。

Microsoft To Give Students Dev Software For Free

(via Techcrunch) At a talk tomorrow at Stanford University, Bill Gates will announce that they are making much of their developer software free to college and university students. The program, called Microsoft DreamSpark, will be run by Joe Wilson, Senior Director of Academic Initiatives.
