(via Gizmodo) Some people celebrate anniversaries with food, or a little dancing, but Business University Turiba in Latvia decided to have a little fun with a Gizmodo favorite: the ol’ Mento in the Coke reaction. For the school’s 15th anniversary, the students set out the break the previous world record for this category, which was held by 1,499 Belgian students in the town of Leuven. Last Thursday, they succeeded, and the contents of 1,911 bottles of Coke were sprayed violently upward, and into history. Read more.

Firefox 3最终版尚未发布，但是火狐的推广活动已经策划好了，那就是创造一项24小时下载最多的吉尼斯世界纪录。这里是官方网站。

但是活动具体的日期目前还没有确定，因此，火狐又推出了一个“宣誓（pledge）”的小功能，即保证自己会在活动当天来下载，需要表明自己所在的地区（大陆为Mainland China，台湾为Chinese Taipei），并提交自己的电子邮件。

火狐还提供了类似左图这样的徽标供嵌入到网站当中，还链接了五花八门的吉尼斯世界纪录，比如世界上把舌头伸的最长的人。
