“自由属于人民”，这是一部阿尔巴尼亚老电影里的台词。选举虽然非常复杂，但最终还是由选票说话，民众关注度的多寡与最后的结果确实息息相关。而网络恰好是民众关注度的一个最好体现。

我们之前曾经写过两篇文章，一是“从网站点击看美国大选”，分为民主党篇和共和党篇，这是从各位候选人的网站浏览量来进行判断，结果，民主党方面，Obama领先，这与到目前为止的得票数相符；共和党方面，Ron Paul领先，这与这个老头是网络明星有关，不太做数，目前共和党的总统候选人提名实际已经产生了，这就是John McCain。

另外一篇文章是“从Twitter看美国总统选情” ，说的是谁的名字在twitter上被提到的最多。民主党方面是Obama，共和党方面是John McCain，这与目前的选情相符。（关于候选人得票数及各州详细的得票统计，请参见CNN 08选举专题）

Tubemogul是一个我们曾经简单介绍过的视频浏览量统计工具，通过它的统计分析，可以看出，视频浏览量的多寡和选举的胜败和募集资金的多少也有着惊人的对应关系，特别是对民主党而言。请看下图。

Obama的领先优势非常明显，总的视频浏览量已经达到3400万。而希拉里大概是1000万的样子。好，再来进一步看看视频浏览量和Obama的暂时胜利之间的联系，见下图。

2月2日，那个叫作“yes we can”的视频横空出世（蓝色曲线），直接带动了Obama相关视频的日浏览量（红色曲线）猛增到100万。3天后，Obama赢得了超级星期二选举的胜利，并在之后的36小时里，募集到了750万美元。

这次的美国总统选举，凸显了网络的力量，因为网络是和民众最快速、非常有效率的接触，容易让人感觉到亲和，特别是对年轻选民来讲，“你看，那家伙和我一样喜欢上网。”

Obama是民主党阵营中希拉里最致命的竞争者，这从我们之前的文章可以了解到一些。今天最新推出的视频“Obama girl returns for Iowa”在短短两个小时内，观看数字已经突破7.4万。在这个视频中，obama girl为了Obama在爱荷华州的竞选而出山，不仅在拳坛上击败了希拉里的支持者，而且孤身一人直捣希拉里的竞选总部，救出了人质。
