九寸钉（Nine Inch Nails）是一个传奇金属乐队，乐队风格难以一言概括，“重金属”、“流行重金属”、“工业摇滚”、“死亡摇滚”，由他去吧。

九寸钉加入了成名乐队脱离音乐厂商，独自利用互联网发行唱片的行列。RadioHead去年发布的“In Rainbows”是第一次尝试。

九寸钉的新专辑叫作“Ghosts I-IV ” ，一共有36首，可以到这里下载。其中前9首为免费下载，5美元可以获得全部36首歌，10美元可以预订2张CD，另外还有75美元和300美元两种不同包装的版本，其中300美元的为限量版。

Nine Inch Nails have put up the first volume of their album ‘Ghosts’ on torrent sites, under a creative commons license. 整天在国外的各个音乐站点上窜来窜去，却没有发现国产的8box，八宝盒，一个2.0音乐社群网站，功能齐全，我们来挑几样说一说。

一是音乐存储的功能，你可以把喜欢的歌曲上传到这里，就像我们以前讲过的ezmo一样。然后是“音乐漫游”，就是你选择一首歌，然后八宝盒会一首一首推荐歌曲并播放，这个过程中你可以选择跳过下一首，也可以打个1分，这样这首歌就羞愧的自己跳过了。这就像我们介绍过的meemix一样。不过八宝盒的推荐歌曲的内功还要进一步提高。

八宝盒有一个“炫听模式”，可以在这个模式下上传歌曲、听歌单里的歌、音乐漫游。下图是它的操作界面，背景很漂亮，有5种选择。点击看大图。

八宝盒提供了绑定twitter、饭否等帐户的功能，你的评论和打分都将自动在这些绑定帐户上显示。还有个性化的widget播放器，可以放到你的空间当中。

这种社群音乐站点，在国内大概只有last.fm的中文站点与之能够产生竞争关系，不过last.fm的中文站点的流量和八宝盒还是差的很远。

第22届“西南偏南（SXSW）”音乐节将在3月12日——16日举行，如果你是SXSW音乐迷的话，今天你将得到一份大礼，从2005年到2008年全部SXSW音乐下载，BT种子在这里。

如果你不喜欢BT的话，可以在SXSW网站上下载2008年提前发布的曲目，只是稍微麻烦一点。如果你不喜欢下载，或者想先听一下，那么最好用 SXSW Player v.08来收听。

最近时常有朋友问我，怎么用iPod之外的播放器来播放iTunes中的音乐？是啊，怎么播放那些iPod+iTunes策略下的AAC格式的歌曲呢？

有了，doubleTwist。这个桌面软件会自动“解放(liberate)” iTunes中的AAC文件，转化成mp3格式，然后同步到你的非iPod播放器中。这种转化是什么原理呢？据路透社报道，doubleTwist执行了快速播放然后快速录制的过程，这个过程很快，半个小时大概可以转化100首歌。歌曲的音质据估计只能达到原文件的95%。（谁会在乎呢？）

doubleTwist目前处于测试阶段，只能同步到诺基亚（N系列）、索尼爱立信（walkman音乐手机和Cybershop）、LG Viewty、微软智能手机。相信很快会支持更多播放器的。看看这个关于同步iTunes的视频吧。

我们之前介绍过Ezmo和Musana，他们都是提供音乐网上存储和播放服务，这样我们可以在任何地方听到自己喜爱的音乐。这种服务好是好，可是有一个缺点，那就是需要把歌曲一首一首的上传，需要很长时间。JukeFly就试图解决这个问题，它的方法是下载一个小软件，安装并运行后，这个软件会同步（自动或者手动）你的电脑上的歌曲，你的电脑就变成了一台服务器。只要这台电脑联着网，你就可以在别处欣赏这台电脑上同步的歌曲了。如果你的电脑像是“曲库”一样，jukefly确实能给你省去无数时间。

凡事有一利就有一弊，jukefly确实省了上传歌曲的时间，但是要使用它，你的电脑就必须联着网，这是一个费电又费钱（包月除外）的措施，不过对于电脑整天开着的人会很有用，当然还有非常有计划的人，知道自己今天在外要听歌:)

JukeFly不仅是一个网上音乐盒这么简单，它还有一个打算，就是让用户之间彼此分享歌曲和交朋友。JukeFly现在有481个用户和超过120万首歌。
