2008 CES（Consumer Electronics Show）大会在拉斯维加斯热闹举行，我等只能透过网络看看热闹，截取二三，把玩一番。
1.戒指魔盒
向女友求婚，戒指是主角，装戒指的盒子是鸡肋。现在鸡肋也想发挥作用，助你求婚成功一臂之力。上图中的这个戒指盒，金色富贵的外观，内置一个2英寸的液晶显示屏，可以播放视频和图片。打开盒子的时候，两个人的精彩瞬间和钻戒同时闪现，多浪漫的时刻！

记得上中学的时候，那会儿还没有mp3播放器，室友之间经常分享小收音机或者随身听，方法就是一人带一个耳塞。不知道现在的孩子还会不会有这种场景了，大概偶尔还会碰到吧。
Belkin RockStar就是这样一款让朋友之间分享音乐播放器的设备，其实就是一个耳机分线器。1个输入端，接到iPod上，5个输出端，留给朋友的耳机。hoho，很酷吧。
售价20美元，3月上市。

先看看下面这幅图吧。
有一点乱。这是我在用opera浏览网页，但是你会发现在上方和右侧有几个类似标签的东西，其中有一个记事本标签还自动打开了。如果你使用过google desktop widget，你会发现这和它很相似。是的，这是用stick做的widget。
和google desktop widget不同的是，stick widget占用资源少，类型非常简单，只提供4种，包括日历、记事本、rss feed和导航（navigator）。上图反映的是两种，我用导航把经常用的几个网站和文件夹做成了widget，像标签一样排列在桌面边缘，很简单，很实用。
用stick需要下载它的软件。操作界面如下图所示，点击看大图。
点击Add tab，添加标签，如果可以给标签命名，选择外观主题，点击“custom properties” 为标签指定网址或文件夹。每个标签都可以自动显示或隐藏，还可以选择标签定时刷新的时间。
Stick对不支持标签功能的IE6和对标签功能支持不太好的opera 9.5beta来说，很合用。

If you ever used google desktop, you may feel that powful but a little overwhelming especially when your PC system is a little poor. If so, stick is considerable. It only ships with 4 types of widget including rss feed applet, calendar, notes, and Explorer utilities. But for the fundamental usage, it’s enough.
据路透社报道，SanDisk公司推出了一款名为“Cruzer Titanium” 的U盘，这款U盘最大的特点是，当用户使用它存储文件时，同时就可以在线备份这些文件，也就是说，线下存储和网络存储是同步的。在线备份服务由BeInSync公司提供。
这款容量为4G的U盘预计于今年3月上市，售价59.99美元。在线存储服务免费期6个月，之后要交年费，29.99美元。有些贵。这种线上服务和离线设备的结合已经成为新产品的发展方向。

Storage and online backup all in one
SanDisk’s introduced a new flash storage drive named Cruzer Titanium, that also automatically backs up data to the Internet. The online backup service is powered by BeInSync.
The new product will be on sail on March for 59.99$. The online backup service is free for the first 6 months, after that you must pay 29.99$ a year to continue the service.
The merging of devices and internet service is a big trend.

从Mr.6先生的文章中得知两个Flash贺卡网站，非常有趣，在此赘述一下，介绍给大家。
一个是去年就名噪一时，今年又“王者归来”的ElfYouself。Elf是小精灵的意思，所以这个网站就是要把用户变为传说中的小精灵。登入网站，一片银铃作响，4个小精灵出现在眼前，1个在前面手舞足蹈，脸庞不断变换，3个在后面助威。如下图所示，点击看大图。
用户参与制作这个Flash贺卡很简单，只要上传一张照片，把脸部放在框框里就行了，框框是活动的，不合适的话可以略微调整一下，图片的大小和方向都可以调整。保存之后，就算完成了。一张贺卡一次最多上传4张照片。
贺卡制作完成后，可以发送给朋友，但是“send to friend”这个功能我试了3次都不成功，最后只能点击“copy yourelf”才得到了链接。
Elfyouselft自11月中旬开站以来，Alex排名已经蹿升到200多位，真的是一个奇迹。另外大家可能注意到了上图中那个小孩拿的牌子，上面写着此站将在明年1月2日关闭，所以想送这个贺卡的朋友还要抓紧。
另外一个贺卡网站叫作BC Hydro，看这个名字就知道和水利发电有关，果然，这是加拿大一家水电公司支持的小项目，如果玩游戏的次数超过了100万，他们将给当地的儿童医院捐出5000家园。
这个Flash游戏很简单，用户只需要把那枚25分的硬币塞进右上角的投币口里就行了，这枚硬币将经过一个奇妙的旅行，最后滚进那个计数器箱子里。见下图，点击看大图。
现在计数器显示的数字是1,386,571。数字下面是一行小字“send to friend”。
Miracle and warm created by flash holiday cards
ElfYouself is a flash holiday card website which was so well-known last year, it re-opened in the mid of November, now its alexa rank has comes to 200. It’s a miracle!
ElfYouself allows people upload their own picture and change the face of modle to their own. It’s funny. The site will be closed in upcoming Jan, 02. So if you want to make a elf card, you should take the time.
Another holiday card website is BC Hydro, it’s a little project supported by a Cannada Hydropower company. If the game has been played over 1 million times, the company will donate 5,000 Canadian dollars to the local children hospital.Now the counter shows that it has been played 1,386,571. 移除USB设备是一件有点麻烦的事，需要单击右键-点击安全删除硬件-选择要移除的项目（有多个设备的时候）-点击停止。有些时候这样做就完成了，有时候会得到暂时不能移除的提示。
USB Disk Rejector就是解决这个问题的小工具，487K。下载后无需安装，启动后可以自动在后台运行。当需要移除USB设备时，打开rejector，双击设备图标就可以了，这在有多个设备运行时，显得更好用。见下图。

你会买那个叫作Chumby的东西吗？哦，对不起，这个问题有点唐突。那么，什么是chumby呢？简单说，chumby是一个带有无线网络的只能播放一些小程序（widget）的小型电脑。来看看chumby长什么样子吧。
这个土头土脑的家伙就是chumpy。Kristin Shoemaker已经把玩了两个月这个小东西了。在他看来，最有用的几个chumpy widgets包括：完全的个性化Feed阅读器，预装了digg、slashdot等feed；Flickr图片浏览widget——Mniml Slideshow，但是这个东西似乎偏爱于浏览最新的图片；YouTube and Anime Kiosk widgets，不用说了，看视频用的；当然还有关于twitter和facebook的widget。

chumpy的widget还包括电子卡片功能，天气预报，ebay价格追踪，播放ipod里的音乐，更多请看这里。

Some of the more useful Chumby widgets include a fully customizable RSS feed reader, as well as pre-programmed feeds for sites like Digg, Slashdot, Slate and Engadget. Mniml Slideshow shows images from Flickr (we recommend Mniml over the Flickr Photo Viewer, which tends to display only the most recent photos). For video junkies, the YouTube and Anime Kiosk widgets are a must. For those social types, keep track of your friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Chmby is also a social network,you can customize or develop widget and share them with your friend.
