很多人都喜欢养花养草，但同样多的人时常忘了照顾它们，结果花花草草死了，弄得自己心情也不好（其实再养一次，多半效果还是一样）。要是花草自己会说话就好了！
哈，先别盲目的许愿，科学家们已经做到了，可以让植物给你的twitter发消息：“我要喝水！” 这是纽约大学一个叫Botanicalls小组的研究成果，植物会通过传感器感知土壤的湿度，然后通过手机给主人的twitter留言。这里有完整的植物twitter装置的DIY过程，如果你喜欢的话，可以自己试试。
如果你不满足于用手机接收twitter信息的话，其实还可以直接让植物给你打电话，这是Botanicalls小组去年的研究成果，这里有演示视频，这里有植物喝饱水后给主人打来的感谢电话。
既然植物可以做到，以后动物就可以做到，婴儿也能做到，比如“我饿了”。

That’s because the folks at Botanicalls, a group that formed at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program that figured out how to get plants to make phone calls when they need to be watered, have now extended that functionality to Twitter.
