Two classic case of long tail theory
Many blogs can be seen as the classic case of long tail theroy.
Midtown Lunch is one of them. It created by a 30 years old man named Zach Brooks in Midtown,NY. “To me, lunch hour is sacred- and I’m not going to waste it in some generic Midtown deli. And every place I find, I will share it with you.”He said.
The food he posted is always within a certain blocks because he can’t go too far and the office worker are lazy. The price is usually under $10.
Everyday, 2000 people visit his blog, and now he can earn $1,000 per month.
Another case is BCS Guru which focus on the “Bowl Champion Series”. It’s created by Samuel Chi who has been professional sport journalist for 15 years. Everyday, about 4,000 people come to the blog, and the ticket agencies put ads on it. Samuel Chi has a income over $8,000 per month now.
What we mentioned few days ago “One cold hand” is a good case too.
